Jonathan Turley on Bybee

On his blog Jonathan Turley responds to Senator Patrick Leahy's call for Judge Bybee to resign. Leahy states that the honorable thing would be for Bybee to resign from his judicial post and Turley points out the lack of honor it seems that Judge Bybee has. As a civil libertarian its hard for me to stomach the fact that Bybee made it through Senate confirmation so easily. As Turley notes in his post, Democrats refused to pursue the torture allegations during his cofirmation process, and only 19 Senators voted against his confirmation.
